I like where this was going. Crisp background, contrasting shading on the subject. The concept itself is very intriguing. You might want to try something like this again in the future, with the focus of the image more off-center; my biggest complaint would have to be the overwhelming symmetry resulting from absol being dead-center.

Awesome idea. Keep it up.

great job with this :D some people might think that it's a little wierd you left the bottom a bit empty, but I like it because it shows height in the picture :D

Heh I left it empty because this is my wallpaper and I put my icons there, also I couldn't be bothered, glad you like it though.
