I saw this used on the MLP:FiM Princess Twilight Orchestral Suite when I stumbled on to it. I had to follow the link back to this just to fav it. The Picture is very good and the song was also good. But after hearing the song and seeing the art, together they are just epic. I just don't know how to really describe it. The art and song are linked in my heart. I'm not very good with words, so I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. It is as if the two where suppose to happen and make each better than if alone.
Those wings are beautiful. Lovely work with the shapes of the feathers. And this hair is marvellous, all those strands and individual hairs brought out so beautifully by the lighting. Gives an irresistible urge to touch it. The detail on the tiara which I can make out is good, too! The pose makes me think she's standing on air, with the help of her flight ability. However, she appears downcast, sad. Never good to see my beloved Twily sad. That said, the background looks very fitting here. The twilight-between-day-and-night idea is used in nearly every drawing of the sort that doesn't use the night sky background, but this take on it is great. The bright light makes her stand out sharper, as well as makes her look quite alone. Stronger emotional impression that way. Well done!
Twilight, my love... don't be sad. No matter what troubles you, we'll overcome it. I'll be there by your side to make it so. Please, cheer up a bit... I can't bear seeing you sad.
Oh wow, I was going to humbly accept that some people don't like my work. Then I realised you're a shit artist with no concept of quality, who calls themselves a professional but can't draw anything half-decent without a base.
You're everything I hate and your opinion is disregarded.
